We want every Grin & Print purchase to bring smiles, not stress. This Refund Policy explains when you can get a refund for digital downloads and for our custom design service, how to ask for one and how long it takes. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions.

Most problems are quick to fix. If a file will not open, a link has expired or something looks wrong when printed, email [email protected] with your order number. In most cases we can send a working file or a fix the same week.
Digital downloads
Most products in our shop, such as the Meme Bingo Party Kit, Lunchbox Joke Cards, Caption This Party Game, Punny Birthday Card Bundle and the Dad Joke Desk Calendar 2027, are digital files that you download and print yourself. Because these files are delivered instantly and cannot be “returned”, our general rule is that digital downloads are non-refundable once they have been downloaded, except in the situations below.
When we will refund or replace a digital download
- Faulty files. The file is corrupted, will not open in a current PDF reader, or is missing pages or elements, and we cannot send you a working replacement.
- Not as described. The product is materially different from its description on the product page.
- Not delivered. You did not receive access to your download, and we cannot resolve the problem.
- Duplicate purchase. You accidentally bought the same product twice. We will refund the duplicate order.
- Not yet downloaded. You changed your mind and have not downloaded or opened the files. Let us know within 14 days of purchase and we will refund you and disable the download link.
In the first three cases, we will usually offer a corrected file first. If a fix is not possible or does not solve the problem, you will receive a full refund.
When we usually cannot offer a refund
- You have downloaded the files and simply changed your mind.
- You bought the wrong product or did not read the product description (although we will always try to help, for example by offering an exchange for a different product of equal value where the original files have not been used).
- Print quality issues caused by your printer, ink, paper or settings. Colors on screen may look different from colors on paper. We are happy to give printing tips.
- The event was cancelled or the printables were not used.
Customers in the EU and UK
If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel online purchases. For digital content that is not supplied on a physical medium, that right ends once the download begins, provided you gave your express consent to immediate delivery and acknowledged that you would lose the right to cancel. We ask for this consent at checkout. This does not affect your legal rights if digital content is faulty or not as described, in which case you are entitled to a repair, replacement or refund under consumer law.
Custom design service
Our Custom Meme Design service involves a designer creating something just for you, so refunds depend on how far the work has progressed.

The number of revision rounds included is stated on the product page. Please review each concept carefully and tell us exactly what you would like changed. Most concerns can be sorted out through a revision, which we are always glad to do.
How to request a refund
- Email [email protected] with the subject line “Refund request”, or use our contact page.
- Include your order number, the email address used for the order and the product name.
- Tell us what went wrong. For file problems, a screenshot of the error message, or a photo of the printed page, and details of the device or software you used help us fix it quickly.
- Send your request within 30 days of purchase (or within 14 days for change-of-mind requests on files that have not been downloaded). For custom designs, please contact us within 14 days of receiving the concept or final design concerned.

We will email you when a refund has been issued. If you have not seen it after 10 business days, please check with your bank or card provider first, then contact us and we will look into it.
Partial refunds, chargebacks and bundles
- Bundles. If one item in a bundle is faulty and cannot be fixed, we may refund the proportion of the price that relates to that item.
- Discounts. Refunds are for the amount you actually paid, not the full list price.
- Chargebacks. Please contact us before opening a dispute with your bank. We can usually resolve the issue much faster, and a chargeback may lead to your download access being suspended while it is investigated.
- Licence ends on refund. When a digital product is refunded, your licence to use it ends, and we ask that you delete any copies of the files.
Free printables
Our free printables do not cost anything, so there is nothing to refund, but if a free file does not work, tell us and we will fix it.
