Grin & Print is a small corner of the internet built for people who like to laugh together. We make clean memes, groan-worthy jokes and printable fun that turn an ordinary lunch, a long Tuesday or a kid’s birthday party into something worth remembering. If you have ever folded a silly note into a lunchbox or watched a room full of guests lose it over a party game, you already understand what we’re about.

Our story: from party printables to printable humor
Grin & Print didn’t start as a meme site. It started as a printable party games and kids’ party supplies shop. The early catalog was full of the things busy parents and party hosts were hunting for the night before a celebration: scavenger hunts with rhyming clue cards, party games that worked for mixed ages, printable invitations, coloring and activity sheets, and the little extras (place cards, thank-you tags, door signs) that make a homemade party feel special.
Something kept happening with those printables. The pieces people loved most were rarely the prettiest ones. They were the funny ones. A scavenger-hunt clue with a terrible pun would get read aloud three times. A “guess the silly answer” game would outlast the cake. Parents asked whether we had jokes they could tuck into lunchboxes; teachers asked for clean riddles for the last five minutes of class; office party planners asked for something, anything, that would get colleagues laughing without anyone feeling awkward.
So we followed the laughter. Over time, Grin & Print grew into a home for clean memes, jokes and printable humor. The party roots are still very much here, because a good joke and a good party have the same goal: getting people to look up from whatever they were doing and share a moment. We simply widened the table. Today you’ll find articles on meme culture and the science of humor alongside printable games, joke cards and greeting cards, plus free tools for making your own memes and finding the perfect joke.
Our mission
Our mission is simple to say and surprisingly fun to work on: help people share more laughter, more easily, with the people they care about.
We believe humor is one of the most underrated tools for connection. Laughter researchers such as the late Robert Provine observed that people laugh far more often when they’re with others than when they’re alone, which suggests that laughter is, at heart, a social signal. Robin Dunbar and colleagues have explored how shared laughter may help bond groups together. We are not a research lab, but we take those ideas seriously, and they shape everything we make. A joke is better when it’s shared. A meme is better when it’s sent to the one person who will get it. A printable is better when it ends up on a table surrounded by people. You can read more in our article on why we laugh and what humor does to your brain.
What we value
Every page, product and punchline on Grin & Print is measured against four values. If something doesn’t fit, it doesn’t get published.
1. Clean and kind humor
We keep it clean: no profanity, no adult jokes, no shock value. Just as importantly, we keep it kind. Our humor doesn’t punch down, doesn’t mock real people, and doesn’t rely on stereotypes. The best jokes make everyone in the room feel like they’re in on it. We would rather earn a groan from a pun than a laugh at someone’s expense.
2. Family-friendly by default
We write for mixed audiences: a seven-year-old, their grandparent and the neighbor who dropped by. That means you can hand a Grin & Print joke card to a child, share our memes in a family group chat, or play our games at a work event without pre-screening every line. Family-friendly doesn’t mean boring; it means the fun works for everyone.
3. Budget-friendly fun
Laughter shouldn’t be expensive. Much of what we offer is free: our articles, the Meme Maker, the Joke Generator and a free printable pack for subscribers. Our paid printables are priced as digital downloads you can print at home as many times as you need for personal use, so one purchase can cover a whole season of lunches or more than one party.
4. Effortless parties
We remember what it’s like to plan a celebration with too little time. Our printables are designed to be print-and-play: clear instructions, sensible layouts that work on standard US Letter and A4 paper, and games that need little more than a pencil and a group of people. Our goal is that you spend less time preparing and more time actually enjoying the party.
Our unofficial fifth value: if a pun is bad enough to make someone roll their eyes and smile at the same time, it’s probably good enough for us.
What we make
Grin & Print brings together five kinds of fun, all designed to work together.
Articles and guides
Our blog covers meme culture, humor science, jokes and puns, and party ideas. We write practical, specific guides such as how to make a meme people actually share, collections of clean jokes for kids, a breakdown of what makes a dad joke work, and advice on sharing funny content responsibly, including the basics of copyright and fair use.
The Meme Maker
Our free, in-browser Meme Maker lets you upload your own picture or choose a template, add top and bottom text, and download a PNG. It is built for quick, clean, personal memes: a birthday joke for a sibling, an inside joke for the team chat, or a caption for the family dog’s most dramatic photo.
The Joke Generator
Need a joke right now? The Joke Generator serves up random clean jokes by category: kids, dad jokes, puns, animals, food, school, office and holiday. It’s handy for lunchbox notes, classroom warm-ups, meeting icebreakers or simply cheering yourself up.
Free printables
Newsletter subscribers get our free Giggle Pack, a digital download with lunchbox joke cards, a meme bingo card, a “caption this” sheet and a doodle-the-meme page. It’s our way of saying thank you, and a good sample of how our printables work.
The shop
Our shop carries printable party games, joke cards, a dad-joke desk calendar, punny greeting cards and a custom meme design service. Favorites include the Meme Bingo Party Kit and our Lunchbox Joke Cards. Files are delivered as instant digital downloads in both US Letter and A4 sizes.

How we create our content
Humor is easy to get wrong, so we take the process seriously even when the content is silly. Here’s how we work:
- Every joke gets read aloud. If it doesn’t land when spoken, or if it could be misread as unkind, it’s rewritten or cut.
- We favor classic, original and public-domain-style humor. We don’t reproduce song lyrics, copy comedians’ material or lift other creators’ work.
- Facts are checked. When we write about the history of memes or the science of laughter, we rely on well-established, real sources, such as Richard Dawkins’ 1976 book The Selfish Gene, where the word “meme” was coined, and we avoid invented statistics.
- Printables are test-printed. We check that layouts work on both US Letter and A4 paper and that instructions make sense to someone seeing them for the first time.
- We update and correct. If something is outdated or wrong, we fix it. You can always tell us at [email protected].
For the full details, including how we handle sources, images, copyright and corrections, read our editorial guidelines.
The words we keep coming back to
When Grin & Print was a party printables shop, one quote lived on our pages, and we’ve kept it through every change since:
“The most important thing is to enjoy your life—to be happy—it’s all that matters.”
— Audrey Hepburn
It’s a reminder we need as much as anyone. It’s easy to treat fun as the reward you get after the real work is done. We think it’s the other way around: the small, silly moments, a pun in a lunchbox, a ridiculous caption on a group photo, a scavenger hunt that ends in a living room full of giggling kids, are a big part of what makes life good. Everything we make is meant to help you have more of those moments, with less effort.

Who Grin & Print is for
We make things for:
- Parents and caregivers looking for lunchbox jokes, rainy-day activities and party games that actually work for kids.
- Teachers and youth leaders who want clean riddles, brain breaks and classroom-safe humor.
- Party hosts planning birthdays, holiday gatherings, game nights and family reunions.
- Teams and office planners who want icebreakers and workplace humor that includes everyone.
- Anyone who loves a good pun, a well-made meme or an excuse to laugh.
A note on trust
We’d rather show you than tell you. That’s why you won’t find made-up testimonials or inflated numbers here. What you will find is free content you can try before you buy, clear product descriptions, a straightforward refund policy and a privacy policy written in plain English. If you have a question, the FAQ probably answers it, and if not, a real reply is only an email away.
